Lisa Campbell and husband David Campbell formed Luckiest Productions in 2007. Luckiest Productions was joined by British producer Richard Carroll in 2009 and has gone on to produce national concert tours, international documentaries, numerous award-winning musicals and live recordings for DVD and cinema release. 

From 2009 until 2011, David and Lisa were Artistic Director and Producer, respectively, for the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, programming such performers as Bernadette Peters, Natalie Cole, Chita Rivera and Olivia Newton-John.  They saw record-breaking ticket sales and attendance.

 Lisa and David are both founding members of the Hayes Theatre Co in Potts Point, where they remain on the Board.  At the Hayes Theatre Co, Luckiest Productions has produced Miracle City and Sweet Charity.  In 2015 Luckiest Productions partnered with Tinderbox Productions to transfer Sweet Charity to the Sydney Opera House before touring nationally.

In the last nine years, Luckiest Productions have won Helpmann Awards, Sydney Theatre Awards and an ARIA.

Lisa also produces children. She and David have a five year old son, Leo and one year old twins, Billy and Betty.

LIZA McLEAN

Liza McLean has worked in the entertainment industry in Australia and overseas for the past twenty years, working for and collaborating with extraordinary Producers, Directors and some of worlds’ finest actors, singers and performers. In 2005 she formed Tinderbox Productions Pty Ltd and is the sole director.

In 2015 Tinderbox Productions collaborated with Luckiest Productions, Hayes Theatre Co and Neil Gooding Productions to present throughout Australia the 2014 hit production from Hayes Theatre Co. Sweet Charity starring Verity Hunt-Ballard.  This was a joyous experience, & the beginning of a new relationship with Luckiest Productions. Tonight you are experiencing Little Shop of Horrors which we are immensely proud of and only the start of many creative collaborations yet to come.

Tinderbox Productions Theatrical credits include, 2014 Australian Producer of the International touring production of The Last Confession, starring David Suchet., 2013 Co Producer The Chichester Festival Theatre Production, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui starring Henry Goodman (West End). Executive Producer 2013 Helpmann Awards, Producer The 39 Steps 2009 Melbourne and Regional Tours & 2008 Sydney Opera House and Hong Kong, Talking Heads 2007 Australian Tour starring Brenda Blethyn & Sigrid Thornton. Consulting Producer Paco Pena A compass to the Rhythm, and Tango Fire. Associate Producer The Hobbit and Shaolin Warriors Legends of Kung Fu. Co-Producer Dorothy the Dinosaur’s Dance Party USA Tour, Humphrey in Rock Around the Magic Forest Clock, Australian Tour Producer The Ten Tenors 2006 and Supervising Producer The Misfits Australian Tour.

In 2008 Liza formed a new company Kay and McLean Productions Pty Ltd with business partner and friend, Andrew Kay. Tinderbox Productions is responsible for all General Management and Financial Management for Kay & McLean theatrical productions including, 2016 return season of North by Northwest with Arts Centre Melbourne, 2015 season of North by Northwest with the Melbourne Theatre Company, Felicity Kendal as Judith Bliss in Noel Coward’s Hay Fever, Jerry Hall as Mrs Robinson in The Graduate, Tubular Bells ‘For Two’, My First Time starring Sharon Millerchip and Josef Ber, The Spaghetti Western Orchestra. Magic Flute, Impempe Yomlingo, James Rhodes, Haunted starring Brenda Blethyn and Waiting for Godot starring Ian McKellen. In 2011 Kay & McLean Co-commissioned the international tour and produced the exclusive Sydney Season of The Bridge Projects’ Richard III starring Kevin Spacey.

Prior to this, Liza McLean was an Associate Producer for ICA Presents Pty Ltd for seven years working on numerous theatrical productions in Australia and overseas.

Liza McLean was elected to the board of Live Performance Australia in 2009 and re-elected again in 2011. In 2012/2013 she became an observer to the board as her appointment as 2013 Producer of the 2013 Helpmann Awards, produced by Live Performance Australia prevented her from retaining her board position. In 2013 & 2015 she was re-elected to the board of Live Performance Australia.
